-The circumstances of her death were likely caused by the fusion of the [Nemesis Device](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/the-asteriicinquefoilsnemesis-xenos-heavy-encryption/page/artifact-nemesis-device-redressor "Artifact: the Nemesis Device") to [Quinten Cutter](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/keojrah-glynt-assets/page/specialist-lazarus-quint "Quinten Cutter"), as the Device's overseer attacked immediately after Anvephone shot the psyker.

-The truth of the situation was properly obscured to witnesses through misdirection and deception. Though Archmagos Wakes became briefly aware of the situation, his memories appear to have been edited by [VIIR ](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/keojrah-glynt-assets/page/magos-logis-eizen-viir-c53 "VIIR")to prevent retaliation. The only remaining rogue element with knowledge of the truth is MIA Company Agent [Gamma Star](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/keojrah-glynt-assets/page/gamma-star "Gamma Star"). The threat of exposure has been deemed minimal, given Star's direct action against Anvephone in the conflict, and blackmail held against our former employee.

-Anvephone's fixation on Xenotechnology was likely born of a desire to heal her mutant daughter, [Palinea](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/asterion-factions/page/palinea-traquielthe-golden "Palinea Traquiel (Status Uncertain)").

-At some point, Anvephone discovered the location of the [Traquiel Fortress](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/asterion-locations/page/fortress-orpheon "Original Traquiel Palace of the Planetary Governor") and commissioned the aid of [Magos van Flange](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/asterion-factions/page/magos-aedifex-vector-van-flange "Magos Aedifex Vector van Flange") in constructing a means of accessing it.

-Anvephone's journal entries found at Fort Orpheon indicated that she had a mentor in studying the [Asterii](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/the-asteriicinquefoilsnemesis-xenos-heavy-encryption "The Asterii/Cinquefoils/Nemesis Xenos [Heavy Encryption]").
