Security and operations are currently being handled by the [Hourglass Gang](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/asterion-factions/chapter/the-hourglass-gang "The Hourglass Gang"), under the specific oversight of [Kadrin Mephisdo](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/asterion-factions/page/kadrin-mephisdo "Kadrin Mephisdo").

-As suggested by the name, the Dock includes a hidden landing zone can be reached via arvis lighter and similar types of VTOL.

-The Dock is positioned near the lava tubes which lead to the location in which the [Xenotechnological Incident](https://kgco.AspenArkive.com/books/the-asteriicinquefoilsnemesis-xenos-heavy-encryption/page/the-lava-tube-xenotechnological-investigation-and-incident "The Lava Tube Xenotechnological Investigation and Incident") occurred.
